Summary: Under current law, insurers may deny a death benefit if the insured dies by suicide within two years of the policy’s issuance. This bill shortens that exclusion period to one year. If a death benefit is denied during that one-year period, the insurance company must refund all premiums paid

Summary: HB 272 creates a new criminal offense in Delaware for “interference with reproductive health services or exercise of religion.” The bill is modeled in part on the federal FACE Act and would allow prosecution of individuals who interfere with access to reproductive health services or religious exercise.
